Pop it! :)

Our class did a lab called "popping fun." This lab consist of vinegar and baking soda. The purpose was to show charles law. Once you poured the baking soda into the vinegar you had to place the cork on very fast or the liquids would just over flow out, i thought that was interesting. Our cap unfortunately had a hole at the bottom of it but that didn't stop it from popping one bit, it still had full force. Something very interesting was that once you combined these two substances and place the cork on top creates a lot of pressure causing the cork to fly off.

Other interesting facts about this lab:
-If you mix these two chemicals together in a plastic bag you can create a bubble bomb.

In my opinion i thought this lab was fun and exciting. Each try we had to succeed the cork to pop off made me more engaged and into this lab. I thought it was cool how my teacher offered us extra credit if we hit the window three times in a row.
