~ Sand waves ~

Last week in class we did a lab called sand waves. I thought that this lab was awesome and super fun =). Some things i learned while doing this experiment was that the highest point of the wave is called the crest. Not only that, the bottom part is called the trough. But the most interesting thing i found out was that frequency is the number of times that a function repeats the same sequence of events in a unit of time. Did you know that the distance between the crest and the trough is the wave height? But, the distance between crest and crest is wave length. I thought that this lab was cool. The reason it was so cool was because i got to earn all these new facts while having fun!
